Reviewed by John Daniels A fine collection of memorable garage tunes. Firstly, a house influenced vocal mix of "See You Again" which is all about meeting Jesus again in Heaven. The sublime Kenny Bobien is still on form here, and is followed on swiftly by sister (or is it wife, I can never remember?) Susu Bobien duelling with the equally talented Dawn Tallman. Their product, "Raise Up", is a particularly tasteful piece of music celebrating, indeed partying, in worship. A slightly more old-school "Everybody Needs Somebody" fills side C of this double vinyl set, with Donna Montgomery's lungs being used to full effect. Thankfully it's not a Blues Brothers cover, though the gospel choir influences do remind you of certain moments from the film! However, this song basically states that God can meet everybody's needs. Lastly, Marc Sir Dave brings us "Symphony", which again offers nothing groundbreaking new musically, but it is still a solid piece of garage. Lyrically, it's more of a (wholesome) love song than worship, but its vibe is still uplifting, finishing off a well rounded four-track EP.
