As I reflect on my youth years in church, and recall the songs that were sung; I can't get over how many of the songs sung, were written by Bill & Gloria Gaither. This is quite an extraordinary album to have, it contains the popular "I Just Feel Like
Something Good Is About To Happen". How often have we heard, "Yesterday's gone, tomorrow may never come, all we have is this moment.......today":
"We Have This Moment Today" is a precious song.
I just love the opening song for side 1, "This Is The
Time I Must Sing"; this song has been rerecorded several times for other Bill Gaither Trio albums.
Every song on this lp was written by Bill & Gloria; they always put their best foot forward when it comes to writing a song, and they make every song a memorable one! This album has quite appealing ccm flavor added to it, the ccm sound is
unfolding. "Feeling At Home In The Presence Of JESUS"; what a nice homey music feeling is provided as you listen. The album title song "JESUS, We Just Want To Thank YOU" is beautiful and wonderful at the same time: Gloria's recitations always make a recording splended to the ear. "I Believe, Help Thou
My Unbelief" is for every believer; I connect with this song, thank you Bill & Gloria. What a stupendous
and powerful chorus for "I Am....Because"; the words are so true, "He is the reason that we live". Once again, GOD is pleased with another timeless recording giving thanks and praise to Him! We are so blessed by the songs of Bill & Gloria Gaither.
