Well known classics, 28 of 'em, are here treated to big luscious arrangements. All the stops are pulled out with a big contracted symphony orchestra and a guest Sanctuary Choir and it certainly pays off: the result is exciting and inspiring. The recipe really is fail safe; a steady succession of glorious hymns, well loved sacred classics, contemporary gospel songs and praise and worship choruses, all performed with the highest degree of commitment and enthusiasm. The arrangements are stunning with plentiful use of trumpets, soaring soprano descants, etc and one is swept away with the sheer exuberance of this explosion of joy in the resurrection. The song medleys are united by themes such as 'Worship The Lamb' and cunningly sewn together by Hearn and Fettke enabling, for example, Beethoven, a traditional hymn and John Michael Talbot to sound convincing side by side. Worship pours out of every note and I am sure this selection will bless many here as it has in the States.
