This single appears to have been originally released in 1983, and gained a strong underground following in Texas. Blind Teeth's style is quirky, drawing influence from folk, country, prog rock and pop styles from the '60s and '70s. They could be considered the Fat And Frantic (remember them anyone?) of '80s America! Delbert Nave is the guitarist (mostly acoustic) and lead singer. His voice has a nasal quality which adds to the unusual nature of the music, but the dodgy backing vocals are a step too far into kitschness. One striking thing is the honest and heart-on-sleeve story unravelled in the last song (no titles given), which (auto?)biographically tells of becoming a believer following several tragic experiences. An odd (re)release, but all the more interesting for it.
