Brian has been around the British gospel scene for quite awhile now and here delivers his second album. From the opening track "Intro: DIP" beginning with synth and guitar in the style of a prog rock epic to the variety of rock, pop, soul, funk and jazz which is woven into the tracks throughout this live concert recording it's evident that this is not a run of the mill gospel album. It is impressively executed gospel worship from a team of talented vocal and instrumental musicians under the leadership and inspiration of Trinidad-born songwriter, producer and singer Brian. With some of the leads taken by Donna Powell, Sharrion Brown and Natalie Philips and arrangements which are often highly sophisticated, this is a seamless whole of praise and passion, beautifully crafted and carefully formed. Highlights include Powell's vocals on the soulful and haunting solo violin-infused "Wait" and the funky wah-wah guitar-driven groove of the Stevie Wonder-esque "Is There Anything Too Hard".
