This self-produced album from Arizona's Come Thirsty claims to be "a collage of musical styles," and with Latin, rock and country influences it's hard to disagree. The songs are largely bright and upbeat, particularly the title track and their take on Darlene Zschech's "I Know It". However, most tracks don't appear to have any particular focal point and unfortunately 'Colors Of Faith' displays some pretty basic tuning and timing problems. That, and some awkward lyrics ("Daniel 9" beginning with an unnecessarily drawn out keyboard intro before moving into an excruciatingly cheesy spoken vocal line), make for uncomfortable listening. There are some good points. Minh Solórzano's vocals, for instance, are strikingly good. But on the whole, this album just doesn't cut it.
