Daniel has released this EP in two versions, the standard one and this version which contains some rather impressive string arrangements to fill out his sound. The singer and multi-instrumentalist has already split the critics with his previous releases and I have no doubt that the Atlanta-based songsmith will do so with this one too. Daniel is keen to avoid producing worship recordings in the way that CCM has become accustomed to and his efforts have met with approval from likeminded alternative worshippers such as John Mark McMillan and Michael Gungor since this EP's release in April 2015. The EP is full of musical contrasts. "Still I Will Praise You" starts with a lounge-style piano section followed by bellowing orchestral musical swells and then Daniel formulates this song into a stadium-ready worship sound. "Seas Of Crimson" was placed second in Worship Leaders Top 20 Songs of 2015, and although a great hymn, for this reviewer the production of the song here could be far better as particularly the piano in the first two verses is particularly jarring. For me, the highlight of this album is "All Hail". The bass drives large parts of the song with a great tone being captured on the recording and at times it cuts out allowing the string sections and vocal arrangements space to breathe.
