Don Marsh Orchestra & Chorus - Once Upon An Orchestra: Sydney Saxophone Joins The Symphony Of Life

A musical story where children visit Symphonyville where instruments live, work and play. Sydney Saxophone feels he doesn't fit into the orchestra until he learns "to make beautiful music for the Creator". The storyline is ridiculously contrived, the characterisations unfalteringly feature voices seemingly designed to remove the enamel from the listener's teeth and the lushly orchestrated musical interludes are better heard in the manner Beethoven, Bach et al wrote them and before the dread hand of the Designer Music Group fell on them.

This recording was an Angel Award-winner and for good reason...it has a lot of heart and creativity. Totally entertaining!
