The blurb claims that the 15 songs on this video are "the greatest praise choruses ever written." Sorry, but this sort of hyperbole helps no one and arguably could open Brentwood Music to prosecution under the Trades Description Act. But I suppose saying "15 quite nice choruses from the 70s and '80s" won't help to shift many units. Still, this is what we have: a collection of inoffensive choruses played and sung competently over lots of genuinely stunning scenic shots. The words are shown on screen so one may sing along if the Spirit so moves, personally, I found that when I followed the words I missed out on the scenery and when I tried to concentrate on the pictures the words got in the way. Can't win, really. Thinking of next year's holiday, I would have liked information on where the films were shot so I could try to visit. They all looked North American but beyond that I am guessing. Very pretty, though. God knew what he was doing when he made America. However, this video is totally devoid of human life, just lots of pictures of water (some kind of subliminal Baptist message?) so anyone who enjoys watching waterfalls whilst listening to muzak will like this video.
