For some of us there is comfort in the familiar. Like your favourite armchair, couch, or telly programme, sometimes there's something reassuring in the predictable. This album is like that favourite armchair. All of the tunes of a commendable standard, some particular notables include the excellent opening tracks, the title track and "You Carried Me". The choir give good support for Donald Malloy, who can certainly carry a tune, and the list of those who accompany him in lead vocals . do themselves justice and more than compliment Malloy's vocals. Lyrically this album is very strong in conveying the message of praise throughout the album in a telling manner. If you want a good introduction to choir music without particularly hitting the top of the market, this is the best album. For those who love the music of Milton Brunson, Norman Wagner or Hezekiah Walker then there would be no shame in getting this in your collection.
