This collection of 30 contemporary worship songs are written by various singer/songwriters such as Hillsong worship leaders, Soul Survivor worship leaders, Chris Tomlin, Geraldine Latty, Vicky Beeching and others less well known. The songs are all covered here by UK session vocalists and musicians, except for two songs by Andy and Wendy Green who also appear as performers. The songs by the well known writers are ones not so well known. While the vocal and musical offerings here are competent enough they don't get close to the original recordings. I have a problem with understanding the worth of putting together a compilation which is (mostly) not by the original artists. But, judging from the ongoing popularity of the Heart Of Worship series, there are plenty of people in the churches interested in worship songs but not really caring who sings them.
