Elizabeth and Sharon have shared their singing with many church congregations in South Wales over a number of years. This is their second album, having previously released 'Hearts Of Worship' in 1999. The music here is restful, rich and unobtrusive, with the Celtic tones of the sisters augmented only by three backing singers and simple harmonic instrumentation, mainly keyboard. From "A Wonderful Saviour" and "It Is A Thing Most Wonderful" to "To God Be The Glory" and "Abide With Me" the hymn tunes and harmonies are sung strongly. "Oh Love That Wilt Not Let Me Go" struck a particular chord with me and came across well as a hymn for all ages. "It Is Well With My Soul" would also fit into that timeless category. The addition of spoken scripture passages links the hymns well.
