The best of the volumes so far. In the past live recordings have resulted in some iffy lead vocals but many of the cuts here were done in the studio by those talented musos from the Jesus Fellowship. The opener, "A Rising Star", has a rather good techno-tinged dance groove and though the next song up, "This Is The Year Of The City", is a tad dated we're soon back on course with an excitingly percussive "The New Day Is Breaking". On this and the opener, playing and arrangement ideas show a church grouping thoroughly at home with TODAY'S music. Unfortunately, "Church!" suffers from a live recording, a rather dull Bo Diddley riff and a bawled vocal but we strike gold again with a reggae "God's Love Is Here". These Jesus Fellowship tapes are getting better and better and once they overcome their strange aberration of putting no composer or musician details on their sleeves therefore cloaking their tapes in anonymity, they'll surely begin to impact the broader church.
