What is it about gospel albums? Must they have the largest titles around? Strange. But not so in the case of Joseph G and co. Recorded live at a Sunday morning meeting, there's a sense of worship kicking off without the usual Sunday morning dragging-the-soul-out-of-bed that lots of us are used to (or is it just me?). Favourites abound. "Father We Love You (Glorify Thy Name)" has a funky sax solo bursting in on the scene and a wacky guitar at the end. "We Declare Your Majesty" puts in an appearance, gospel style (cue harmonies. And who brought that sax in again?) Top marks go to the worship band, effectively headed by Danye Roache. Joseph G leads the worship with heartfelt dedication and struts his vocal stuff, and the man can hum a tune or two! That old chestnut "Pass Me Not O Gentle Saviour" is dusted down and treated with the gospel polish. "You Are My Song" deserves a listen. It's a well crafted love song to Jesus that, thankfully, doesn't trespass into the land of sentimentality. Unfortunately, "We Are Related" does - it's all a bit mawkish and cute. But if you can ignore it and concentrate on the anointing that flows you won't be disappointed.

How can I get hold of this CD in Zimbabwe. I used to have a cassette back around 1997 but I lost it.
