Devotees of Bill Gaither's Homecoming albums will be familiar with Larry Ford as he was featured on the very first album 'Turn Your Radio On'. Possessed of a very fine singing voice, this popular Irish balladeer is undoubtedly one of the finest singers on the Gaither recordings. This album starts with the very catchy "Favorite Song Of All" from a recent recording in Toronto, we then are treated to a succession of many well known hymns, "Blessed Assurance", "O What A Savior" from a recording with the Gatlin Brothers and "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow" to name but three. You will also struggle to find any finer recordings of "The Holy City" or "O Holy Night" anywhere else! In fact listening to this CD with my eyes closed, I would admit to being very envious of Larry's fantastic singing ability! 15 tracks of timeless songs all deftly sung make for a very enjoyable listening experience for those blessed by sacred solos.
