Linda McKechnie's concert ministry has taken her around the world and many will know her from the popular Hymnworks and Symphony Of Praise series with Brentwood Records. I cannot count the number of instrumental albums that have included evergreens such as "His Eye Is On The Sparrow", "The Old Rugged Cross" and "It Is Well My Soul" but I agree with the sleevenotes. Linda with her keyboard artistry, and the orchestration of her brother Don Marsh, has beautifully blended these hymns and classical original themes into calming worshipful music. She has breathed a fresh new life into these classic hymns. It's like finding the oasis of calm that a beautiful garden brings to the centre of a crowded and traffic-infested city.
