Topping the Cross Rhythms charts and reaching the BBC Top 40, the opening track from London-based soul artist Michael Kiwanuka's eponymous album has been reimagined by mysterious German DJ and producer duo Claptone and released as a single. Despite gaining a superimposed house music beat and other electronic bells and whistles along the way, the Curtis Mayfield/Marvin Gaye sound of the original version remains intact as Kiwanuka reflects on urban life and all its mindset hang-ups with mellow ease and ultimate cool.
