The 140-voice Christ Fellowship Choir shows that the CD's title of 'Bigger Than Life' is not just a clever play on words when it makes its way through a live performance which starts off with all instruments and vocal chords blazing - and then keeps them that way for the next 70 minutes. Many of the 13 tracks are songs written by Pastor Michael Neale, who also ensures a tight production in a selection which features fast songs, slow songs; up-beat tunes and music which ponders God's love. Electric guitars are mixed with a strings section and a horn section as the choir and singing soloists also carry out some musical interplay. All of this results in a well recorded album that is joyful and not afraid to show it.
