An eight-track, 25-minute CD EP recorded in Rosebud Studios in Nashville in 1998, featuring five of Mickey's songs, two old time country standards in "The Family Bible" and "Precious Memories" and "Amazing Grace" (described as "traditional"- ain't they ever heard of John Newton?) As expected, it's typical country music, with pedal steel guitar much in evidence and Mickey's voice reminiscent of a million other good ol' boys who've plied their trade down the years. My favourite song is the opener "Can't You Hear The Saviour Calling", which skips along very cheerfully; the other songs are a bit of a plod tempo-wise, but Mickey avoids the corniness of much country gospel by building sound Biblical truth into his material.
