The current worship album format appears to be following a similar pattern with many releases - live, contemporary, beautifully recorded and vocals focused on the leaders. None of which is a bad thing and if that is what you are looking for, 'Kingdom' amply fits the bill. This is the fourth release emanating from the worship team at the Hawaiian megachurch who have enjoyed huge success in the Billboard charts, their last album going straight to the top. There are strong songs on 'Kingdom' such as the title track and "Trust". Despite its over-familiar format, there are clearly some top rate singers, songwriters and instrumentalists at New Hope and this set is therefore worth investigating.
