This double album highlights the gifting of three outstanding worship leaders, Tim Hughes, Matt Redman and Scott Underwood, who really do lead God’s people into worship. Following the title track “All I Want Is To Know You, Jesus (Nothing Is As Wonderful)”, Scott says it all : “This is the place where we want to be.” I particularly liked Matt Redman’s “Thank You, Thank You For The Blood” – we don’t hear much about the blood in CCM these days, but surely the precious blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all unrighteousness is a basic fact of our faith! Outstanding vocals and instrumentals make this CD a delight to listen to. My favourite is Matt Redman’s “How Lovely Is Your Dwelling Place (Better Is One Day)”. The second album, recorded live at New Wine Weekend, is even better. Brian Doerkson’s “Come, Now Is The Time To Worship” has now become a favourite in many churches. The most outstanding track (hear the applause!) is Michael Frye’s “Jesus Be The Centre (Be The Centre)”, as much for the flute accompaniment as for the words. Very good value, guaranteed to set our Anglo-Saxon bodies moving and our spirits soaring.
