The niche marketing minds of American record labels have ensured that America's religious nostalgia has been met with a stream of releases featuring old time-style renditions of evergreen hymns. Benson's attempt to find sales in the field, coming as it does after the pioneering Brentwood Music albums, suffers a little from deja vu but if you want "Church In the Wildwood", "Amazing Grace", "Unclouded Day" and nine others played on hammered dulcimer, fiddle, clawhammer banjo, etc you better get down to your local Christian bookstore after you've watched that TV rerun of "Little House On The Prairie".
