Pax217's two albums 'Two-Seventeen' and 'Engage' have established them Stateside as one of the hottest up and coming properties in CCM, although their profile over here is not so great as yet. This budget-priced item aims to bring them to a new audience over here, whilst providing completists with the opportunity to stock up on a little more Pax goodness. The DVD is good value for your five pounds, showcasing the short-form videos for "Prizm", "A.M." and "No Place Like Home", the band's three major US radio singles, alongside a live version of "Tonight" as well as amazing acoustic versions of "Tonight" and "Countin' Down The Days" from Engage (featuring bongo-bashing aplenty). The most interesting feature though is an insightful series of interview snippets with the band, during which they talk candidly about past, present and future. The DVD is intelligently presented, with a clear menu system. This collection will undoubtedly win Pax217 new fans, and on the basis of the live tracks here, we can but hope for a visit to these shores before too long.
