As has been observed before in these pages, one man's meditative aid to contemplative worship is another man's muzak pushed out solely because it sells. Personally, I found Peter Campbell's renditions of Noel Richards' "I Will Seek Your Face Oh Lord", Graham Kendrick's "To Keep Your Lovely Face" (plus 12 more) extremely soothing while the orchestral accompaniments put together by Chris Norton are the epitome of taste and should be an object lessen to arrangers like Greg Nelson and David T Clydesdale as to what can be achieved for a fraction of those overblown American budgets. Soothing, gentle, evocative music I wasn't embarrassed to have playing when my kids came home from school.
