Cut live at Powerpoint in Glasgow and Dundee this is full of the effervescent rock-for-the-kids which has become the speciality of Messrs Hubbard and Horner. Sammy (glad he's dropped the Sam aberration) gives us side one with fine support from a band who are the Electrics in everything but billing. Sam's repertoire here is largely from two sources, his 'Obey The Maker's Instructions' album and 'Celtic Praise' and if nothing is added to the originals its Sammy's wild mixture of influences - Elvis, reggae and his Celtic roots - which makes it rollicking fun for kids of all ages. With most of the Electrics as support for Richard as well, Mr Hubbard comes over more effectively than on his low budget studio albums. Both "I Will Sing And Celebrate Your Name" and "Except The Lord" are outstanding. An enjoyable album which transcends the usual limitations of kids' albums and live recordings.
