I'm speechless, photographs and barbed wire against camouflage fabric and Recon as an 'elite force highly trained for war' is a concept that Pastor Bob Beeman (whoever he is!) recommends. I can't imagine a more dreadful witness or ministry for God than five middle-aged men in heavy metal gear playing AOR heavy metal with the flair and inventiveness for knock-em-dead lyrics like "Holy is the Lord/Holy is the Lord/Holy is the Lord/Holy is the Lord". Or how about "it's your decision/ choose this day whom you will serve/come and confess him". Maybe there's a market for this kind of stuff in the states, where Christian bands get to meet non-Christians and give them this kind of 'heavy' (metal) sermon? But over here I can't imagine this getting further than a cloth-eared Christian's collection. This is religious, not spiritual, slick, banal, and boring, (oh, and like most heavy metal it sounds boring backwards too. . .)

This article is unobjective and does the excellent music on this album no justice!
