Anarchic dissonance seeps out of every groove of these seven long songs; in other words, gospel with attitude, delivered so quirkily you just have to stick with it to find out where it's going to take you next. The arrangements are paired down to a dangerous minimum, the production has an almost amateurish innocence and the total effect of the package is absolutely electric. This Rev from Michigan City mesmerises with every breath; such an amazing voice, such sensitivity to her material - and no wonder when we discover her track record as a 12 year old performer, teenage missionary and pastor (ordained at 15) - one who just has to make her presence felt wherever she goes. You see, when a key band member fell ill, Tina Redden went into the studio anyway and played everything (14 different instruments), hardly breaking stride. She wrote the songs, so she knows her stuff. The result is such a wonderful take on how to communicate on a highly individual basis, and it works a treat. The effect is reminiscent of 1930's old time gospel without the crackle and hiss. Tina L Redden (the 'L' stands for Laverne - so you know where she's coming from) has to be the finest gospel vocalist in many a long year. Am I sounding positive enough? One final comment: the last track '"The Day Christ Died", is probably the very best Christian soul track you will ever hear, and I really mean that. For collector, for connoisseur, for goodness sake, search this out.

This Rev can truly sing, her gift is perfect and she is almost perfect with it. God is gonna do great things for this gifted lady she is for real and what you do in Christ for real will truly stand. Lets All give our hearts to the Lord.

I love to hear this woman sing, this Reverend is the best annointed singer i heard in a long time. she do that patti label, tina turner, mavis staple, gladys knight type singing only its to the glory Of God, Thank The Lord. Stick with God Rev, do be pursuaded to sing any other type we need good sounding Gospel singers these days that sing about the Lord and what hes done. Its all about God and its not all praise and worship comtemporary singing, cant understand what the choirs is even holloring about nowdays, I understand what Rev Tina is singing about, it comes when I need to hear it.

She sung this album and quite a few off the other ones to. Good, old fashioned, down to the nitty gritty singng. We Love you Blessed are the feet that carry the Gospel. Keep carrying it sister. Stay in Good Health

I seen this artist in a cable Television Special in chicago area. The vocals was outstanding and hearing the CDs itself was just as outstanding. She sings/plays to the Lord with heart. Well done; again, amazing talent amazing voice. The song The Day Christ Died is a sermon in itself

I just purchased two albums by this artist. The songs music and singing is under the ANNOINTING. GOD IS TO BE PRAISED. Listening to THE DAY CHRIST DIED that song touches your heart down to the soul. That song IS FROM GOD, All of them are, but that song does something to your spirit. God is Good and worthy to be praised. The way she sang it cannot be matched nor duplicated. This whole album stirs your soul. She sang this song on television and when you hear it you will know what I mean. It Is from God, about Jesus and stirs that Holy Ghost. Hallelula!!! Yes Yes Yes.
