Don't let this one sneak past you. Because of the record label and the serious OTT back sleeve blurb one could easily assume this offering was another of those faceless collections of MOR muzak perpetrated by Don Marsh or someone. In fact it's produced by David Lyndon Huff, the man who's done everything from play drums with White Heart to produce the Disco Saints sanctified dance album. Here he takes certain ancient musical elements, gregorian chants being a favourite, and some eerily haunting keyboard washes that wouldn't be out of place on an Enya album, drops in a few Scripture readings and comes up with drum loops and tricky synth patterns that would make this a favourite if it ever got exposure at ambient nightclubs (which I doubt). Marvellously atmospheric, working as dance music chill out room atmosphere, an essential item for alternative worship organisers and a superb aid to personal meditation encouraging you to focus on a timeless Creator.
