If you are a hardened rock fan you may be inclined to run screaming from the room at the sound of this album. However, if you would prefer the songs of Petra presented in milder, much milder form or are looking for a birthday present for granny then this is for you. This arrangement of well-known Petra songs is by Robert Sterling and features pieces from such recent Petra albums as 'Wake Up Call' and 'Unseen Power' as well as ones from the archives, 'Washes Whiter Than' and 'Never Say Die', which were first released back in the late 70s/early 80s. One oldie which has benefited from the arrangement is the "Colouring Song" which has achieved a level of clarity and balance partly owing itself to the range of better recording techniques now available. The music arrangement throughout the album has very skilfully reproduced many of the original sounds and backing and the introductions to the songs sound fairly authentic.
