This is Shaded Red's debut album and what a fine one it is too. Two of the tracks ("Something" and "Dreaming") are produced by ex-Audio Adrenaline guitarist Barry Blair and he has done a good job on both. A lot of the songs on this album are built around gutsy, gritty guitar hooks and then build up into a musical explosion. The vocals side is good too and sometimes remind me a bit of Jars Of Clay. The lyrics on this album are strong and up front and cover such issues as the Cross, God's love, trusting God and lukewarm Christianity. My favourite tracks include "Let lt Out", a catchy song with a groovy chorus, "Falling For You", "Something" and "Faker" ("You're a faker and you know it/You're a faker and you show it to the world"). The last track "Use Me" is slow gentle, asking God to take his whole life and use him. I like this album and it's well worth listening to; a strong debut.

I have this debut cd by this band; nice sound for the late
90's. What a talented young trio that have entered the ccm
scene: WELCOME BOARD!! "Collide"
is a song I really like;love the intro. "Found Someone" is
another favorite:great song and great lyrics; so today ccm
sound! This cd showcases these
new talented ccm musician/singer/songwriters. I love the
song "Dreamin"; the lyrics teach to "Trust", a very
important thing for every believer! How often have we heard
the words "FEAR NOT"; this is a beautiful song:hear what
this song is saying! "Sunk" is another great song! The last
# "Use Me"puts it all into perspective. If you didn't know
who you were listening to, you would undoubtedly, probably
guess "Jars of Clay". For the next release the group would
lose Robert Stacks, and gain 2 new members,
Dave Villano & Ben Miller. GOD Bless! -Don
