After the success of the "Celtic Expressions In Worship" series, Kingsway now turns its attention to Celtifying Christmas carols, and seventeen of them get the fiddle/whistle/bodhran etc treatment. The difference is that The Columba Minstrels are not Iona past and present. Thus there is no variation in the arrangements, all the tracks are done exactly the same way, and after two or three tunes the novelty wears off. I'm sure that Terl and Co would've done infinitely better than this. Unless you're as Oirish as Paddy Murphy's pig, this will probably not be your cup of Darjeeling.
