Ronnie Freeman started as a Rocketown artist, the label owned by Michael W Smith, and opened shows for Mr Smith as well as Steven Curtis Chapman. Here he is fronting the slick (but poorly named) Great Worship Songs Praise Band as worship leader. The CD leaps straight into the title song demonstrating a Mr Freeman who is clearly comfortable in this setting. Track two, Chris Tomlin's "Made To Worship" is a great example of the strength of songs contained here. The band gets several chances to shine on such tracks as " Bless The Lord", "My Savior, My God" and the absolutely beautiful "The More That I Praise You". The last song on the disc, Fernando Ortega's "Our Great God", is outstanding not only as a song, but also with the atmosphere conveyed when you listen. This is a well above average praise recording. It would be a shame if it got lost in the torrent of worship releases.
