For those who are familiar with some of the recent Gaither videos/DVDs, The Isaacs are a wonderful acoustic bluegrass group with soaring harmonies that have a regular spot on these albums. On this DVD the five performing members of the family are interviewed by Gloria Gaither in between many of the songs they have performed. Lily (the mother) recounts how a Jewish girl born in post war Germany from a family who had endured the horrors of the Nazi holocaust had come to America as a very young girl and had spent her early years living in the Bronx in New York without knowing anything about Jesus or even the country music that the group is now so well known for. To find out how it all came together just listen to this amazing testimony! The emotion that the group can put out in song is simply breathtaking and there are so many things to enjoy on this album. The standout track for me is "Sweet Holy Spirit" where Sonya's vocals are absolutely stunning!
