Although a contemporary writer of Christian music, Stuart's versatility is shown brilliantly on this album of 12 of his popular songs here arranged for choir and organ. The album is recorded in Coventry Cathedral and performed by the St Michael's Singers and organist Alistair Reid. The arrangements are well written and are not simply played or sung straight, but have been arranged specifically and masterfully as though originally written as choral pieces, and thus are pleasant to listen to. The main snag is that some of the compositions here - "Fullness Of Grace", "Behold the Lamb (The Communion Hymn)" and "There Is A Hope" - will only be recognised by hardcore Townend enthusiasts because, in truth, most of the best known material by the Brighton-based hymn writer has already appeared on the earlier New Hymn Makers album 'Stuart Townend: How Deep The Father's Love'.
