This album, featuring as it does worship from a big church in Fresno, California, who are blessed to have in their ranks award winning jazz keyboards man Tom Scott, is similar in many ways to the also released 'Experience The Fire'. You've got the same great lyrics, strong vocals and professional musicianship and I for one will be giving it some play on my stereo. Having said that, it lacks a little of the cutting edge of the superlative 'Experience The Fire'. Perhaps it's just a little too refined in parts. Tracks that stand out are "Whom The Son Sets Free" with some enjoyable Caribbean percussion, "Heart And Soul", "Romans 12.2 (Be Not Conformed)", a powerful track. I love the lyrics of the next two tracks, "His Name Is Jesus" and "More Than Life Itself, My Lord, I Love You". Challenging, yes. "Give Love To Get Love" is great fun with a Southern gospel sound and Charles Gooch providing vocals.
