A three girl one bloke group from Barnsley, Washed And Ready To Serve sing a set of original songs, most of them written by their lead singer Gail Hibbert.  Lyrics are largely evangelistic and with crisp hooks and pleasant harmonies from the other two girls pretty tuneful without having the production values needed to bring this kind of material alive.  In fact the arrangements are decidedly perfunctory with way too much emphasis on rhythm guitar.  Still, all the evidence is that this team mean serious business for God.

I first saw this group when I was about 10 years old, they came to my Baptist church in Mexborough. After that, we went to see them again, I can't recall where it was, though.
We bought a cassette for the car and wore it out! I have been intouch with them and they have very kindly sent me a CD. It is constantly on, both my iPod and my CD player! The songs are catchy and have a very important message.
It's a shame they couldn't carry on and make any more
