It's a delicate job, being asked to review a recording like this one in which the purpose of the recording (sold in aid of the NSPCC) almost eclipses the artistic content. Buy it and do a suffering child some good, and if you are in the grip of the late 20th century disease of donor fatigue, just ask yourself what is most important in life, self or others. There are one or two gems here worth mentioning for the freshness of interpretation that the kids bring to them. One is "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother", which is particularly poignant, as is "With A Little Help From My Friends". Congratulations to all involved.
