It appears that in recent times, the Church has stepped up a several gears in relating the Bible to the younger generation. If you visit a Christian conference (and many churches for that matter!) you will notice some amazing work going on by outstanding people. That is why this CD is such a disappointment. Firstly I would dispute the three to seven year old age stated on the cover, as I would doubt that any child over five would gain from the presentation here. The format is made up of the story of the hero followed by the song, featured here are Jesus, David, Moses, Samson, Gideon amongst others. However, the stories and songs are not split, making the disc a nightmare for use in children's meetings where you might want just the song. The CD case claims 'A double length CD' - since when has 51 minutes become double?! In fairness the songs and stories are presented not by adults but by children with American accents. But there are so many better children's albums out there.
