This mammoth 365 song, eight disc set of children's songs is billed as "eight hours of Bible fun" and, whilst the fun part is subjective, this collection would certainly be value for money if you were to base such judgments purely on bulk. Apart from the fact that parents will never have to buy another Wonder Kids release ever again, this set's main selling point is that it provides a song for everyday of the year for kids between the ages of three and seven with the aim of providing biblical input. Culled from previous Wonder Kids releases, almost every Sunday School song you can think of is featured here with tired standards such "Jesus Loves Me", "Kumbaya" and "Sing Hosanna" sitting beside cheesy versions of the likes of "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" and "The Old Rugged Cross" which suffer from this collection's continual reliance on cutesy American kids' voices and the obligatory cheap electronic backing. Elsewhere, secular nursery songs like "Head & Shoulders, Knees & Toes" and "If You're Saved And You Know It" are shamelessly Christianised - the latter involves handclapping if the listener is indeed saved and knows it, in case you're wondering - and I'm afraid this sort of tacky material typifies the remainder of this anthology, symbolising all that is bad in the world of children's Christian music. Although some thought has gone into this release's concept - daily spiritual input in a structured format - it's a pity the same cannot be said about its actual musical content.
