Being the seventh instalment of this devotional series, it's hard to know what to say about the July feature which hasn't been summarised in past reviews; it's an aesthetically pleasing twin-disc package that doubles up as a devotional booklet, with a wide variety of selections from Kingsway's back-catalogue. Although I'm sceptical about the level of depth that can be gained from devotional promptings so constrained for space, the material has clearly been arranged with care. When Cathy Burton sings "Redeemer," the reflective literature corresponds with thoughts on redemption; when Encounter Worship Band play out their rendition of "The Father's Song", you have musings on the nature of God as Father. A safe purchase for anyone after some light quiet-time inspiration, or a chance to sample some of the less known names on Kingsway's roster.
