Reviewed by Trevor Kirk An impressive slab of contemporary praise from the youth team drawn from 10 churches in and around Sydney, New South Wales, and this is well up to scratch, with a tight band and passionate vocals, and a good mix of rocky praise and thoughtful worship material. On the evidence of this album, Darlene had better watch out, because in Kate Spence (also known apparently as "Frank" - oooh Betty!), it appears that Australia has found another talented and anointed blonde-haired lady singer/songwriter. A pleasant surprise was the inclusion in among the gentler worship section of Martin Layzell's "Devoted"; as for the others, "Deeper" (no, not the D? song, it's one of Kate's, although the words say more or less the same thing), shuffles along with an infectious beat and phased harmony vocals, and perhaps my favourite, and another one of Kate's, "Bless The Lord", a simple song of praise that starts slowly and builds to a soaring anthemic chorus. Oz praise is safe with these guys!
