Want to know God? Want a relationship with Him? God so wants those phone lines between us and Him
open, He's made it extremely simple to do. If you will align yourself with
Him to the point of confessing out loud to Him and others that Jesus is Lord and
if you genuinely believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead that's
it, the phone line's open. He's an awesome God who sees the heart and He hears our
words.
So are you ready to become a Christian?
All you need to do is say this prayer, believing it in your heart (and then let someone else know what you've done). You could also add your own prayer here so you're saying it in your own words too if you want to. God wants to hear you!
"Jesus I so believe in you, that you are real, that you lived on earth and were crucified and then God raised
you from the dead which was totally awesome.
It's just amazing that you died for me because of my sins. Please forgive me.
I know I do and say things wrong. Wrong thoughts are even in my head too. I need your forgiveness and
I really want a relationship with you. Please talk to me from today. Please guide me in my life.
I'm handing over control to you as you're Lord. I want to live the amazing life you've got for me.
I can't wait to get to know you. Amen."

Original PrayerUnsure
Oh God, I've heard so much about you but my faith is still so weak. I'm so desperate for your touch. I'm so half-hearted and I'm still not able to trust you and let some of my sins go. I feel like my heart is blind and can't hear. I'm losing my interest in you. Please help me, touch me, please show me how real you are and how great your love is and how much my sin has cost you. I'm affraid of coming to you one day and hearing you sending me away for i have not truely given you my life and sins and that i've never let you into my heart. What more can i do? I just can't... I don't want to live without you. Such a life isn't worth living. Please, help me. Submitted by Michael on 13 May 2006
ResponsesBe strong, my friend
My friend, every person when they come to realize who God is has doubts, insecurities... But God created you, Michael. He knows of your insecurities, as He knows every fibre of your being. He will not turn you away, He loves you too much. God has a purpose for you Michael, He put you here for a reason. No matter how many times we stumble in His presence, He is our loving Father who will pick us up, dust us off and set us on our way again. He can be trusted, there is no one more trustworthy.
Every journey starts with a single step. The first step is always the most daunting, you're not quite sure where you're going, or even if it is the right direction. The one thing that the Lord desires is that you take the first step towards Him, and invite Him into your life. He will welcome you with open arms, as a father welcomes his child. It will not be an easy journey, but persevere my friend. The rewards are much greater than anything that we can imagine.
Father, I bring Michael to you. I pray that you will bless him, and help him in the areas that he is unsure of. I pray that you send the Holy Spirit into his heart Lord, to help clear the doubts, the confusuion, and to give him the courage to take that step towards you, to welcome you into his life. I pray that he also knows of the great sacrifice that Jesus made for Michael's sins on the cross, that Jesus didnt die in vain, but that He died for our sins past, present and future, so that Michael can enter into an awesome relationship with you Lord. Build him up Lord, in mind, heart and spirit. I ask in Jesus' name, Amen.
Bless you my friend. Submitted by Gemma on 28 May 2006
Bless you Michael...
Bless you Michael my friend you have started out on an awesome journey with God, here are some truths...
1. The fact that you are so concerned means you are saved my friend, He will not send you away when that day comes so don't worry.
2. Sin... We an't perfect my friend, not one of us, I have been a Christian for a long time and try as I might from time to time I sin, but I also know I am forgiven and that my journey like yours continues, that doesn't mean it's ok to sin, it means that once we are forgiven though we really are forgiven and that by seeking God He will help us to sin less and less.
My friend you need to do some things that will draw you closer to God and its not always gonna be easy and sometimes you will have doubts, sometimes you will feel alone and sometimes you will wonder where God is, but as you grow as a Christian it will for the best part of things become easier, you my friend need Christian fellowship that will encourage you and supoort you, that will nurture and disciple you and that doesnt matter what denomination it is if it does all those things, you need to learn to realy worship Jesus, not just sing songs once a week, learn to really mean what you sing even if sometimes you feel a bit down, also you need to read your bible and seek to understand it and seek ways for God to communicate with you personally through it, lastly my friend you must keep seeking God through prayer, prayer, prayer and more prayer, like any relationship the more we talk the more we get to know each other, give each day, each problem, each direction and turning point in your life to God in prayer, talk to Him my friend and know that He listens to you.
Father God I lift to you Michael, I pray that you send your Angels to watch over and protect him, pour out upon him an awesome measure of your Holy Spirit, through this stregthen him Father, wash from him any doubts and any fears, let him know your presence in his life, I pray also Father God that you through the power of your Spirit you bind any lying, decieving spirits who prey on new Christians, in your precious name Jesus I come again these spirits and rebuke them in your name Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, annoint this precious Son of yours, pour upon him your Spirit and grant him those gifts you would have him use.
Bless Michael in the name of Jesus Christ Amen Submitted by AndyR on 16 May 2006
