my mates are abonding me my family don't want me 2 belive i can't find a church which is right 4 me im finding hard not 2 swer 'cause every one around me does it i just feel so low and i feel soon im going 2 stop beliving as i don't understand why god is puting me through this. please please please help and pray 4 me

its hard when your family arn't christians, i know! i'm 18 and got saved a couple of years ago, but none of my family are christians, and its hard, and it hurts! i'm just atarting to learn that i have to try and show Gods love through actions rather than ram it down there throats and ultimatly its down to God from then on, i pray for them and try to be a good witness but i'm just starting to accept that beacause they're not saved doesnt make me a failure. Firstly, God is so proud of you right now! you are taking a stand for him! he knows your heart, he knows its hard for you to get out of habits like swearing, but i dont think that succeeding is necesarily the most important thing. He knows your heart and He knows your trying. we screw up, were human! but luckily God accepts us anyway! just to admit that your struggling is such a big step, because it shows that in your heart you want to do better. and that makes God smile! secondly, just to encourage you to be strong. i dont know if you've just been saved or if you've been a christian for ages, but when i was first saved, i really struggled. i REALLY REALLY struggled! those who i thought were my closest friends turne their back on me.but looking back now i know that satan was angry, he didn't want God to have me and he was gonna do what he could to drag me away from Him. when you are vulnerable satan will try and attack. we are living in a battle. which is why when you are weak you need to be strong in God, because He can whip satans butt for you! (with both hands tied behind his back and blindfolded! :P ) The battle has already been won, when Jesus died on the cross, so anything satan tries to convince us of otherwise is rubbish! -and actually looking back God has used those tough times to shape me, i really am a changed -and better person beacause of them -hey i wouldn't be able to try and help you out if i hadn't experienced it! do you have any one who you'd feel comfortable chatting stuff through with and being accountable too? that could really help. keep in there! lay it at the cross. God loves you immensely! i'll be praying for you. -x-

Hey Hannah, Just wanted to comfort you in some way, although, I'm not sure quite how to. From what I can testify from my past, God can bring you through swearing an loads of other things! He's great like that! He helped me through loads of things like that! And still does! because I'm still constantly around people that swear and things, ie at college or other social places, but theres an easy way to get around it. One way is, to think What Would Jesus Do? another way is to think What Would Jesus Think. You never know when Jesus is gonna come back, so if you continue to think to yourself, Jesus might come back at any moment! what will he think?! then that helps you to be faithful to Him! God Bless Ya! I hope God helps pull you through your problems with your friends and family! God will guide you to a church which will use you and strengthen you! GB Jonna
