Original Prayer

Dear God, I pray that you will be with me and constantly near me at this difficult time when my Mum is leaving my Dad and moving to spain to live with someone else. I pray that some good may come of this situation as my Dad is considering coming to church for the first time. I pray that through you I will be able to talk about how I am feeling at this time, something I do not normally do. Through your love, mercy and grace, AMEN

Lord, I know that you are with Alison, holding her and comforting her, even during the times she may feel far away and frustrated in her pain. I pray that you send healing to her family, and draw those hurting closer to you; I pray that her relationship with her mother grows stronger, not more distant with physical and emotional distance. I pray that you give her the courage to express her feelings, and the absolute knowledge that you understand her pain. in Jesus' name, amen.
