I feel lost. I come into your House Lord Jesus, but don't find you there all my feelings are lost for you, I hate it, I hate not being able to feel you anymore Lord Jesus. Lord theres the story of Footprints where it says you carry us through our hard times, Lord Jesus this is a hard time for me and I don't feel you carrying me I feel alone.I don't feel you in my prayers, I don't feel you when I sing your songs and I don't feel you when I read your word, Lord Jesus I want you back in my life but I can't reach out for you cos I can't feel you, I need you back Lord Jesus. re: Pain
Gem, I don't know what to say apart from Jesus DOES love you. In the story of Footprints, the man does not realise that Jesus is carrying him. He has to ask the Lord, perhaps you should do the same.
I know exactly how you feel cos I'm feeling low at the moment too.
You obviously haven't lost God like you think, as you say that you cannot feel the Lord anymore but still long for him. God is hearing your prayers. I wish I could say more to comfort you, but all I can say is what I said before; God loves you, do not give up!
I will be praying for you, God Bless, From Beth Submitted by Beth on 23 Aug 2004

Rejoice in the Lord!!! He Loves You. Submitted by Gem on 1 Jul 2002

Felt I had to contact you after reading your prayer request online - it was my first visit to the crossrythms site.
No great pearls of wisdom - in fact feeling quite similar to you & acknowledging that it is me that has lost the contact but all I can hold onto & offer to you is the cross.
When Jesus was on the cross & at the end of his time - he "felt" our father turn from him, he was alone - but not really - God was always there, ok standing apart from him but still there with him.
You are doing all the right things to keep the relationship alive, you are reading his word / singing his praises & although you don't feel his presence he is there, standing apart & taking you into his gaze & watching you grow.

Dear Gem
I really understand how you are feeling. I've felt like that before as well...even though i know all the theory and the gift of salvation i wasn't in a one to one relationship with Christ. However, what i feel God has taught me in these times is that HE is still very present. It's in these times God is strengthening our faith and teaching us patience. God wants people who don't constantly need reassuring that He is there, By faith alone we know. I hope this helps...I feel God is just teaching you to be still and know His presence.....perhaps He is preparing you for something and you need to be built up in strength and faith for this. God Bless you x Submitted by Kel on 13 Jun 2002
