Original Prayer

I have lost myself. I don't want to be me anymore. I want to be someone else. I don't think i can do anything, I need God to help me and reassure me that I have a purpose.

As much as I still am weak in the fact that I don't feel I can don anything for God, i want to thankyou for your prayers and responses, they all helped me. I know that i do have a purpose, God has one for everyone. We have our ups and down where you don't want to be yourself, but you have to be for God, God loves me, God loves you!

Hi Adam, just to say i'm going through the same sort of thing at the mo (long term). Feeling like i have no gifts, no use to the church etc. I don't know the answers but God does. God made you & you're the only you we've got! We wouldn't want you to be anyone else. Tell Jesus how you feel. God bless you.

Adam, Ive been where you have and come through it. Please know how incredibly special you are to God as you are. God didnt make you to be somebody else, he doesnt make mistakes, he loves you as you are with a passion. A verse that has meant a lot to me is Jeremiah 29v11'For I know the thoughts I have for you says the Lord, of peace and not of evil, To give you (Adam) a future and a hope' God's working in my life, and hell work in yours.
