Original Prayer

Where do I start with this request? I will try not be wordy but there is so much here. Would you pray for our 14 yr. old grandson Chris? Chris and his Mother are not Christians. Last night (Monday) Chris was admitted to a psychiatric hospital for youth in Michigan for behavior problems. He has not been in trouble with law-enforcement. But has been in school, home, etc. He is failing in school even though he is a very smart young man, he does not care. He has a 5 yr. old brother (with no problems) and his parents have been divorced for 4 yrs. His Father lives on the other side of the country and has been in the military all of Chris's life. He does have contact with the boys when he is in USA. Two months ago Chris started going to a site on the internet about ANARCHY. It is an evil thing. He began making their signs on his hands and arms and clothes and at school. He is on his last warning at school and if he does this again he will be kicked out for the rest of the year and have to repeat the grade. He does go to church when he is with us (grandparents) and sometimes goes with his Aunt and Uncle and cousins. We know that Father God has a plan and it is out prayer that it will come to be. Chris and his Mom need Jesus first in their lives, their hearts need to be turned to Father God, then to each other. Our hearts are broken for them and the pain they are in. But we know that we know that Father God is in control. Thank you for your prayers.

Papa God it is definitely true that You are in control.I lift up Chris to You right now and I ask that You break the chains of Satan off of him. Please begin to draw him to Yourself. I know that You can do anything. By faith, I release him and his mother to You. Please be with Jeanne and comfort. Also, please keep Your hand on Chris' brother. May he come to You at a young age and follow you all the days of his life.

Father. I thank you that Your Word, history and my own experience has shown that you can change people's lives around! And that happens because You are so amazing. So I pray for Chris at this time that You would come into his life in a very real way. Thank you for the contact that he has with Your body through his family. Use this contact with church to birth within him a desire to know You Father. Would you bring Chris to a realisation that he needs You. Become his Father I pray. Take away this issue of anarchy, for You're the God that reigns and rules over all and bring Your will to pass in perfect order! Help him at school - cause him to be motivated to work and get good grades. For Chris' mum, I pray again that you would reveal Yourself to her and that she and Chris would come to believe and follow You Jesus. For Jeanne and her husband (the grandparents) bring Your peace into their lives, bless them and grant them their request to see Chris and his mum enter into a relationship with You. In Jesus name.
