Original Prayer

Please could you pray for my friend, Liz who is cutting herself as a result of sinning badly. She needs God's love and touch to make her realise that this isn't the way God wants to punish her. I ask this in your mighty name Lord. AMEN

Anna I just want to join with you in that prayer and pray also that God will give Liz a revelation by His Spirit of HOW MUCH He loves her and the forgiveness that jesus brought on the cross. Father in the name of Jesus, set Anna free - Amen

Hi Anna, I'm a 24yr old Christian who has self harmed in the past. I often confused the christian teachings with those of the secular world. the world says its ok to take out your frustrations on yourself, but i believe that God doesn't like us doing it. Body is temple of holy spirit etc. Feel free to pass on my email address to Liz, and i will happily share my whole testimony with her and yourself if you wish. My prayer for myself has been that God will use my past hurts and experiences to help others, so if there's anything i can do, i'll be happy to help. my heart really goes out to Liz, and i'd love to see her helped back on the right track. Whatever she's done, God DOESN'T want to punish her in any way, He just wants to love her and hold her close. Try not to be angry with her - i know how hard it is for friends and relatives to watch someone going through self harm. At the time, all i wanted was someone who had been there and could truly know how i was feeling. Hope all of this helps. Much Love&Many prayers Clare
