Original Prayer

Lord Every day I fail you and every day I say I will not fail you again. Take my sinful heart, take my weakness, take my failure and replace them with your Strenght, your power over sin, your triumph and guard me, guide me, forgive me. Amen

John you are not alone in your struggle. Many of my days are subject to temptation, I try hard to resist, but the desire is to great. I ask for forgiveness every time and know I am forgiven. Does God use my weakness to draw me closer to him when I avoid him? Or does the power of sin control my inner being at will? I pray for you John, I pray that Our Heavenly Father directs our focus towards Him, helps us to find our purpose for His glory and strengthens us when we are weak. Father God I pray for John. Strengthen his faith Lord Help him to move forward with you and not be held back by his past failures. Thank you that you work in us in our weaknesses and I pray for your wonderful plan you have for John's life. Please give him a glimpse of this. Protect him from the evil one and thank you for your promise to guide him always.
