I don't know what to say

Dear Lord, I was not the best of persons last night. Please forgive me.

we all mess up and do think or say the wrong thing you are not alone in this and God just asks that when we do we come to him admit our sin and resolve to turn from it and trust the blood of Jesus to cleanse us because He already paid the price for all our wrongdoing once and for all so walk free in his forgiveness my brother/sister
